Who here enjoys riddles? I know I do, so I thought I would start a riddle thread! I will start us off with a riddle, and whoever answers it correctly gets to ask the next riddle, or pass their turn on to someone else (if there is no active riddle for a few days, I will provide one). Hints should be given out after about five (give or take) requests if the riddle is too hard. Try to explain your answer so everyone understands where you are coming from. I will try to keep this post updated with all answers to the riddles (once they are solved), to make a sort of riddle database. Have fun!

Riddle 1:
Bob is looking at a portrait of a family member on the wall and states, "This person's father is my father's son. I have no brothers and no sons." Who is in the portrait?

What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head but never weeps, and has a bed but never sleeps?

Riddle 3:
2 fathers and 2 sons go fishing. Each of them catches one fish. So why do they bring home only 3 fishes?

You and two other guys are all applying for a job at Mcy D's. Only one of you can get the job. To get the job you have to be the first one to say what color hat you have on. The manager puts a hat on each of you. The hat is either red or black, and you have no idea what color your hat is. So all three of you are put into a room and are told to raise your hand if you see at least one red hat on somebody's head. You see that the two other guys have red hats on, so you raise your hand. The two guys also raise their hand, and look around confused with no idea what color hat they have on. What color is your hat? EXPLAIN
Riddle 5:
On my way to the fair, I met 7 jugglers and a bear, every juggler had 6 cats, every cat had 5 rats, every rat had 4 houses, every house had 3 mouses, every mouse had 2 louses, every louse had a spouse. How many in all are going to the fair?
Riddle 6:
A man had twelve toothpicks in front of him. He took one away. Now he had nine in front of him. How is this possible?
Riddle 7:
There used to be this game show called Lets Make a Deal. In the show there were 3 doors. Two doors with a bad prize and one with a good prize. Lets say the good prize is a car, and the bad prizes are both goats. What you do in the game is pick a door. Then the host of the show, Monte Hall, would reveal one of the two doors you didn't choose. Since he knew what is in every door, he would always reveal one of the bad prizes. Then you have the choice to switch doors or keep the one you have. You get whatever prize that is behind the door you end up with. So lets say you are playing this game. You choose a door. He reveals one other door which has a bad prize(goat) inside. So now you have the option to either keep the door you have or switch doors. Which gives you the best chance of getting the good prize(car), switching doors or keeping the door you have? EXPLAIN
