Ranks in the Posse and How to Achieve Them

I agree. I've actually tought about that idea of a leader. I just tought maybe we could split WBP into small pieces kindda like a mafia familly actually. We have a Don (the leader of the whole thing, both Xbox and PS3) then we have the capos who are the leaders of either the Xbox or PS3 and then we have the made men, the soldiers you know, us ordinary persons. Hope you understand

How about,

The leader (floppay), then off that, you have another 2 leaders, which run the xbox and psn. Then off say, xbox, It could split into 2-4 subleaders, which will each lead a different chapter of the posse.

Sort of into a family tree type.

From what it's set so far, it seems we're gonna have Floppay as Big Boss, then 3 leaders per system (one per territory), and then each leader gets a lieutendant or something.

Either way, we're still waiting for the MP-info before we make solid decission.

I think the ability to rank up should be heavily connected to how others feel about you, if you're a bit of an idiot and get ranked up and start telling people what to do, chances are nothing is going to get done.

Whereas if you are active in the forums, friendly and helpful in game and are just a nice all round person more people would be willing to listen to your ideas in game

Leaders, etc are normally only selected if they are respected and well thought of in a group. Forums ranks should have no input in posse status

I totally agree with Doodle and Danny. I would like to see natural leaders leading us on the battlefield. Of course the creators/founders of the posse would be the imeadiate leaders, but it would be wise to choose in game leaders as well. People we can rally around when they are online.

you should divide us up into squads appoint a leader for each squad and hve them decide when to promte us. if u name the squads then it will be easy to set up competions and stuff

You should divide people into groups based on rankings

is this just a pre planning phase to red dead, is the ranking system going to affect in-game online playing?

I'd thing it'd be cool if when you achieve the rank you'll be able to put an art thing on your signature that says your rank

Just have different posts that are labeled with different time zones / time of day and have people apply for them. Then pick who will lead from each group. And as days go by people that are more active or better knowledged that want to apply for leader then do so. Unless u narrow ur members to 8-16 people that live in the same house and work the same hours its not gonna be very structured.
