LOL... yes and no. I simply went and posted on the Dirty Wild Bunch (sounds like a copraphiliac porno) forums and said they weren't very original in naming their posse. The leader freaked out and tried to prove they had the name first and failed miserably so he deleted all my posts. I've never communicated with any other posses.

What I actually meant is in freeroam, when you get the max wanted level, a broadcast goes out to all the other posses in your lobby(free-roam world) that says there's a bounty on your head. The person who kills you (or brings you in, depending on if the lasso will work in free roam) gets rewarded for completing the challenge. I can't remember where I read this, maybe a R* article, but I do know it's confirmed.

The reason I said "all the other posses" instead of "the other posse" is because from the words R* has chosen to describe it leads me to believe there can be more than 2 posses in a free-roam lobby. "Multiple posses with up to 8 person per posse"

Maybe it's possible to have 8 2-man posses? Unlikely, but R*'s funny wording of "multiple" instead of "two" leads me to wonder.

I hope so, that would make things more fun. have like 4 posses of 4 instead of 2 posses of 8.

It's also kind of funny how they chose the word "posse" to represent the teams in RDR as a real posse is a group that gathers to assist in law-enforcement, whereas a "gang" would be the exact opposite.

Don't get me wrong. I'll definately be shootin' up towns, leaving hogtied victims on railroad tracks, and dragging lawmen behind my horses once I've completed the game as a hero. I just prefer a little more meat to my gameplay.

that's exactly what I'm going to do. First I'll play as a good guy then I'll play the game a second time as a bad guy

I prefer pistols and shotguns, but then again I pretty much suck at shooting games so I'll probably die continuously lol.

Can you actually kill people by leaving them on railroad tracks?

Question for those in the USA who already have the game.

Having played, my prediction was very accurate. I'm pretty much in love with Repeater Rifles and use very little else.

agreed. The pistols seem to take alot more to kill someone. I feel like I'm wasting bullets every time I shoot one
