Great idea... if you can pick up knives once they're used. I'd like to be able to pick up and throw snakes (especially when riding past a camp) but I doubt it'll be in it.

Mid range with a rifle. Mostly going to avoid fire fights and focus on the objective, but if I have to or someone is in trouble. I'll shoot on sight ofcourse.

I am going to start badass killing and robbing because I'm pissed off my family has been kidnapped but as the story continues and my life as Marston improves I will become a lot nicer man.

Yeah i thought it would add i little bit more depth to the story for me.

You know, I realize now, after pondering what type of player I will be and am in other online matches, that I play it pretty much straight down the middle.
I love the visceral fire fights and being caught up right in the middle, hiding behind diminishing cover, but I also love the satisfaction of getting a head shot on someone from across a map, with them not knowing what hit them.
I can see myself playing it more "Up-close" and brutal with Red Dead Redemption though, as it seems more engrossing and "right" in a western setting.

I tend to be a pretty decent sniper. I am more of a lucky guy than a skillful one. I do get easily distracted outside missions though.

Me too, in BFBC2 I always start shooting down the trees, and then someone finds me and knifes me

Oh, man, talkin about getting distracted. BFBC2 gets me the worst. Sometimes I get on to see if I can demo/C4 every building on the map to the ground before the match ends. It pisses people off but is alot of fun for me.

Haha I do that too! but usually with the Assult class because they have the ammo boxes.

Maybe just a rope will do

Gives me a good reason to act bad a bit, at least in the beginning.

play the whole game with just a rope and knife. now that would be a challenge!

From the sound of what R* has confirmed so far as well as what previewers are saying, you wont get as much depth from the game just playing as a bad guy, though you will make a lot more money. Think about it... kill everyone before you can do their side-quest and just take their money, or follow the storylines through to the end for the reward. The latter sounds much more appealing to me.

Don't get me wrong. I'll definately be shootin' up towns, leaving hogtied victims on railroad tracks, and dragging lawmen behind my horses once I've completed the game as a hero. I just prefer a little more meat to my gameplay.

I agree with that, but think about it, thats why miltiplyer is so great for this. Be a good guy in the singleplayer, but wreck havoc on multplayer because you wont be missing out on the story there.

Haha, yea that's more of what I had in mind. A lot of rival posses are gonna be huntin' me down in free-roam to try and collect on my bounty.
