Playing Styles

Hi guys,
Just wandering what playing styles everyones gonna use?
Are you gonna run 'n' gun with twin pistols and a shotgun, or sneak around with a sniper or hunting rifle?

I'm a pistol, shot gun type of guy.

Even in Mass Effect I played the Shotgun class, Vanguard.

I like to get up close and blow people to hell. Always have. maybe it's because I'm a crappy shot from afar to be honest.

I think i will have to decide after having played the game...

I know what you mean, even though i'm a sneaky little ****, i'm the camper who everyone hates. I call it proper sniping.

Maybe when each chapter gets sorted out we can see whos the best at what, and each person can have there own special gun

Well, I'll decide when I get the feel of the game.

But I'm a very balanced player for Third Person Shooter's.. In Uncharted 2 my main weapon always was the AK-47 or M4, while in Gears of War 1 & 2 it was shotgun.

It depends on how the weapon feels and appeals to me.

That'd be good.

I like to take my time while playing, moving to different pieces of cover until I can get a good shot.

my fav is to blow holes in shit. but i can mix it up at anytime.

I won't know until I play!

Just a guess from games such as GTA IV though, I will probably be a shotgun and rifle type of guy. Moving from cover to cover very methodically with the rifle then cleaning up the remains with the shotgun. I also prefer a gauge shotgun to any double barreled or sawed off.

Revolver and shotgun type person with the occasional knife play.

Up close and personal. not much of a sniper...

I'm not a good sniper at all, but I'm not good at run and gun either. I can never find an awesome hiding spot so thats why I suck at sniping, and when I run and gun I tend to rack up my death streak more than my kill streak. And games dont tend to reward you for dieing alot. So I'll just take and rifle and run from cover to cover. Patient, but deadly.

Jack of all trades. Gimme a shotgun and a pistol and I am happy as a clam. The same is true with a rifle.

I like to play shift every now and then, not playing the same style all the time. But I'm mostly a runnin' and gunnin' type...

Im the sniper im affraid lol. I like my single shot guns

I like to mix it up every now and then but i am looking forward to some of the sniper opportunities in a open area and some revolver action in town.

I'll being using a rifle and a shotgun.

going to strap a cannon to my horse and call myself a tank or i could just go with a pistol and some fire bottles

I'm more so a rifle kind of guy, so I'll def be camping out in some houses and shit.

That sounds like a pretty good idea, Balboa2, posting up in some house with your rifle out the window.

I'll certainly look into the viability of using throwing knives. I wonder how strong and accurate they will be? Anyone heard if they are in the multiplayer?

If they aren't all that, I'll just stab 'em up close. Not exclusively, of course.
