I'd love to play as different characters. Side stories and prequels and epilogues are the untapped DLC content in my opinion.

Prob be a prequel to the game with Marstons gang, although that would take place in different time and would essentially get ride of alot of characters R* worked hard to make. It may be a different character in the RDR universe timeline.

DLC is planned before the game is released, actually its is planned relatively early in the development, with some exceptions that take 6 months to a year to release a DLC.Fate wrote:DLC already? o_o

i hope it is like the GTA episodes, that would really make the scope of this game awesome, but maybe they wont do that stuff this time cause a lot of people may be looking out for recurring characters and stuff. they may do something completely different this time or they might just go for a basic map and weapons pack.

It's here!!
The "Outlaws To The End" DLC is coming out sometime in June. It will be free DLC. The DLC pack contains the following:
- Multiplayer co-op missions
- Additional multiplayer XP awards
- New Achievements and Trophies
Also, there will be more: "Stay tuned for news about two additional downloadable content updates for release later this summer."
Looks nice, and it's free! However, I do hope they make Episodes-like content to keep us busy in SP after we finish the Story for the 14th time.

Well, Rockstar have done it again. They just announced today that they are releasing a free co-op multiplayer DLC package for Red Dead Redemption containing six missions, called Outlaws to the End. It will be releasing this June on XBox 360 and PS3. From the press release, here is a short description of three of the missions:
Walton’s Gold
Walton’s Gang have taken control of a mining camp rich with gold. Fight through the camp and load your mine cart with as much gold as you can carry and get out as fast as you can – Walton’s boys have rigged the place to blow!
The River
Ride a raft down river, taking out rebel encampments along the way until you reach the rebel stronghold of Nosalida and a final epic battle for the town’s massive weapons caches. Watch out for Gatling gun-equipped enemy rafts.
Ammunition
The Mexican Army has the town of Tesoro Azul under siege. Storm the gates under heavy cannon, Gatling gun and sniper fire to destroy the Mexican artillery placements.
