Kinda sad. Glad Medal of Honor is coming out with a new game though. Looks friggen sweet. Mabey it's Medal of Honors time to shine again.

What do you guys think? Are you super sad about this? I kind of saw it coming.

Me too, im more into the Battlefield series myself.

Call of Duty is overrated, in my opinion.

I'm not going to comment on CoD.

I'll just say that those guys at Infinity Ward were powerhouses in the industry of creating games that are now imitated by many others. It is sad to see Activision fuck with them over and over like this until they eventually break apart.

Nasty suing all around as well. It's not healthy to be one of the best around anymore. The big fish always gets you.

I've always loved Activision but now I've lost some respect.

I think i will always keep MW2 even if i have stopped playing it. it was an amazingly popular game and a benchmark for war games IMO. Others will disagree but for me thats how it is.

does not bother me a bit. battlefield is my game of choice. MW2 was ok,good turney shooter but thats about it.

the next CoD wont be as good i reckon and wont sell half as many now its not got modern warfare on the cover

pretty much my exact thoughts on this. I never really got into MW 1 and I played MW 2 like three times, but still i respect what they did for the genre.

Modern Warfare isn't my particular cup of Tea, I did play it a whole fucking LOT, but Bad Company 2 is my eternal love.

Either way, I respected them for who they were, they didn't pioneer the FPS genre but were at the top and also contributed to the refinement of the genre.

I'm expecting the guys that signed with EA and formed Respawn Entertainment to contribute to the upcoming Medal of Honor game, if this happens it will be a killer game since DICE is working the multiplayer part.

Just imagine, Medal of Honor's Multiplayer made by DICE and with some tips from the guys of Infinity Ward.

I know I cant freakin wait for MOH. I've loved that series since before COD, and now that dice is working on the multiplayer.......

Classic rock legends Queen make me want to wretch my pelvis out and grind broken glass in my eyelids, but I respect the fact that they are undoubtedly quality musicians who make timeless, irritatingly catchy tunes that a lot of people love and whose influence will be seen for years to come. I am admiting that through gritted teeth whilst punching the keys.

So, whatever you think of Call of Duty, it's hard to deny Infinity Ward made a slick and playable product or that they are a talented team that, for good or ill, has changed the gaming landscape, particularly with regards to multiplayer. Even your coveted BFBC2 owes it a debt.

Talent is talent, whether we like it or not.

Ya i figure the talent from IW will end up helping EA out a lot, but im not sure if id want them to help on BBC 3 leave that up to DICE alone

Yeah seriously I dont want anyone but DICE touching BFBC3. DICE is doing the multiplayer for the new Medal of Honor, I'm super excited about that
