What I mean is, when you get the game, what are you going to do initially? I know we have this posse thing set up for multiplayer, but I personally never touch multiplayer until I've at least beaten the single player story. I'm just wondering what y'all are going to do, because I don't want to feel like I'm not doing my part if I'm busy in single player for about a week (At least thats how long I imagine I'll spend).

I'm going to initally start with singleplayer, but after a few hours of that i'll check out the multiplayer. I want to get a feel for the controls and see the awesomeness of game before I wreck havoc online Cool

In GTAIV I didn't go online for months after finishing the story. That was before I liked online games. So I'll probably play the single-player for most of the first day, then try online.

Pretty much this, though I will not play multiplayer first. I will at least play single player for a couple days before going online.

Yeah, as I would like to start multiplayer with u guys as soon as possible I want to get a feel for the game, not only that but I also don't want to spoil all the map through MP. I'd personally like to experience it the way it is suppose to be experienced in SP first, I will play some online, more than likely in the night, but it's going to be mostly SP first.

Play singleplayer for a couple of hours before hopping over to multiplayer to see how things work. That is, if I can connect to games by then.

Single Player is always first for me. But for an average game, it usually takes me 1 to 2 days to complete it. Longest was GTA 4, it took me like 4-5 days because I tried to do alot of side mission and went off track.

Not touching multiplayer until I beat singleplayer.

It will probably be hard, but it's just a pet peeve of mine. Although it won't be hard because the game will be fun online and off.

I'm looking to beat the game 100% so it may take me a while to beat SP but I will play MP on and off too cause I don't want to wait a couple weeks and then when I sign into it everyone on the forum is higher ranked and better, lol.

Rather go right into multiplayer mode! only play single-player if i need somthing thats only in single-p to progres.. im sure single and multi are going to be kept separate in that respect. .

not played single-players since Duke Nukem 3D !! and then we got modem to modem gaming started in the 90's it was the beginning of real gaming.!!

rather not play with myself these days,!

I would do single player first normally but i think i might make an exception for this game, since i will be getting it at midnight and heading to my buddy's house and he is the kind of person who will not play unless its online MP.

I usually finish the sp first, but with this game I'm going to jump right to mp. But it's also the first time I'm a part of a posse or stuff like that..

I agree with you Donegal, there's no way you can just pass up the single player. That's what is so good about R*, is that they're open world games don't even feel like a single player experience. This is because of the world's and characters that they make within the game. I can't wait to get into MP myself but I honestly can't spoil the SP by just jumping right in. I'll play the MP in the night time or something for a bit but I'm not going all out MP until I get a good ways through the game first.

My thoughts exactly. Like those first person shooter, I got right to MP because thats what they were focused on. But R* has spent so long on this game. If they didn't make the sp, the mp wouldn't exist. Because it's the same thing but with 15 live players added to the experience.
