assassin outfit

was trying to figure it out but i read that the number 3 task is bugged. ive completed all but 3 capture or kill mo van. brought in about 15 wanted guys but none were him. anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

Apparently it's a bug. R* is trying to patch it.

I picked up the midnight release and when I tried to enter my code for the Outfit it said server issue. The next day after I had already played about an hour and a half of singleplayer I decided to try the code. It worked, but from what I hear Mo Van Barr is the first bounty hunt you encounter in Armadillo (Wanted Poster should appear on the train station i believe). So under my circumstances I had already completed one of the tasks required to unlock the outfit before I even truly unlocked the content.

I'm not far into the game, I'm going to start a new save and see if I unlock this scrap right away in Armadillo (after the fort mercer incident).

As I was typing that last post I had left John on the porch of the Armadillo saloon. When I finished typing that I ran across the street to the train station and a deputy comes moseying up and pulls a piece of paper out of his pocket which he unfolds and nails to the wall. BAM Mo Van Barr.

I read about other people complaining about the same issue with the Mo Van Barr bounty. Turns out I haven't done this one yet.

I went to the pause menu under outfits, selected the deadly assassin, and pressed X to track the 3rd scrap and it lead me to Armadillo. It was night so I rested in the saloon until morning and waited around the train station until poster was nailed up.

I was reading the forums and saw someone post this... "Mo Van Barr doesn't come up till your fame is a bit higher. He did alot of side quests and alas, the Van Barr wanted poster appeared."

I am trying to see if this helps so I am out doing fame gainers!

I saw an official R* tech support post on a site and the guy said the download that came out the morning after the midnight release apparently fixed the issue with Mr. Barr not showing up. He also said that after you do the download Mo Van Barr should be the first poster to pop up in Armadillo on the side of the train station. Just be patient and hang around Armadillo for a day or two. Obviously you have to have already done the Fort Mercer incident in the beginning before the bounties even become an option.

As soon as I leveled up one more fame title, Mo van Barr became available

it worked for me...im running around with the assassins outfit

nice. i haven't even bothered with it yet.lol

I did everything except the Mo van Barr bounty mission, then went to Armadillo and it said Mo Van Barr so it was the first bounty mission I did
