read before voting

i found this post on R* site and i think this is a smack in the face of R* mother1 is a prick that doesnt know how much work has gone into RDR and hasnt played the game and shouldnt be able to touch a copy of the game

I am kind of sad about what I saw. I wish they would show if you can play or rob trains, I want to be able to fight on the trains, I want to beable to go into all of the buildings, if not it will be like playing around big nice looking boxes. I wish they made the envirnment a lot more interactive. Like having fire that spreads and destroys buildings rather then having a diplay of fire, but once it is out nothing has changed. Or wood that splits or breaks up when you shoot it instead of having an explosion and wood chunks make it look like something was damaged but nothing really is... everything still looks the same. I wish they would spend more time on working on that kind of stuff, and less on the sex games that they will have. Sure I know that there will be animals everywhere, but come on R*, this is the year 2010 look at all the new game engines with all of them implamenting geo deformation. If you need any help look up the new game Breach by Atomic Games here http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/the-escapist-presents/1612-Breach it has tons of amazing things you can do with the enviornment and it's a small downloadable Xbox Live game.

Its not feasible for a sandbox game to have destructible buildings. I mean red faction did it but you would go back to somewhere and it would still destroyed. That sucks!

Ugh, I just wanted to smack this guy on the face. But I guess Rockstar should have expected those kind of comments, there's always one guy who isn't happy with the hard work gone into creating the game.

Just another child who wants a game to do what real life does...because that would be "cool". Actual gameplay and satisfying experiences are beyond this person.

this guys is just wrong man, for one he is talking about stuff he doesnt know about, talking about the building thing which has already been talked about, and the thing about sex games which no one has even mentioned. Also what the fuck is he talking bout geo deformation for? recent games have had destructible environments, for example red faction, but for that to come into RDR theyd have to sacrifice the life in the sandbox(random events, NPC interactions, animals etc) and i'd much rather have a great open world than a barren destructible environment like red faction. Not that red faction is bad, its one of my favourite games series, but it wouldnt work for a western themed game.

This guy is an idiot and shouldn't have the honor of even posting on R* or playing the game. R* are pure class and that's the bottom line.

He has a point, but I honestly don't care much about it.
Actually, has destructible enviroments been un/confirmed? I thought I read somewhere fire-bombs would have fire spread through some buildings, and cannons could bring down walls.

But like I said, it all would be icing on an already delicious cake. I can do without all that mess, but I'd be lying if I said it wouldn't be interesting to have.
