Going fishing?

what do yall think the odds are of being able to go fishing? if not with a pole at least with a gun...

Fish weren't confirmed in the game, but it's a possibility, all I know for certain is Marston can't swim.

It has already been stated that Marston can swim (Whether they mean just swim across water, or actually dive in is unknown). The reason a lot of people thought otherwise is because in the first demo, there was some bug that happened when Marston went for a dive. In later revisions, they kept it out so that testers wouldn't wander off to places they shoulnd't.

As for fishing, Oh, God, I would love fishing. It would add 20 hours of play time on this game.

I'd love to go fishing as something to do when I'm bored, or as a quick way to make some money.

Well thanks for the information Loony. It's great that he can swim, I thought it was a poor decision for him not being able too.

i dont think swimming is confirmed. there was an email released from R* saying it was but it looked kinda fake. im pretty sure ive only read previewers saying its not in.

Well, I have no confirmation either. Either way, Niko could swim, so I think it would be stupid to not allow Marston to.

Ya I thought he couldn't swim either. I hope I'm wrong and loonys right though. And ya I used to have those rapala games where you did nothing but fish. So if it's in this game I'm gonna have a lot of fun with it.

he can swim, but he has to put on his RDR water wings and floatie

i hope it is in though even though there is nothing you can use it for. it would be a step back if they took it out wouldnt it?

Be great if there is fishing because that would just add more playtime for me. It would be cool too, since it is like another form of hunting.

whats your going rate and do you do group parties?

i personally don't see why they wouldn't put swimming in.
and if you can swim why not throw in a dive as well.

well at least we know you can swim now
