Red Dead Revolver

Because I can't wait any longer for this game to come out, I went into the closest and dug out Red Dead Revolver. Always is amazing to go back and play a PS2 game and see how far they have come in just a few years. I have played through this before, but it has been quite a while. Figured it might make some of the easter eggs more fun if the first game is fresh in my mind also.

There are some really cool parts to the game though. The Dueling is Awesome, gun drawing and then painting targets is great. Was much more how I pictured the mini game on facebook working.

The deadeye in this game is great too, gun fights on the trains, shooting people off horses, gatling guns and wandering through the little town, in and out of shops is great.

Only problem now is, this is making me want the new open world version even more.

I love red dead revolver, the best western game out...Until Redemption comes out of course.

yeah dak i think so too, but i never played Gun which alot of people like. Revolver was one of my favourite PS2 games.

I played Gun, was pretty good, like riding my horse through the map and there was bears in it, pretty cool. Never got a chance to play Revolver, have looked around but can't find it. Might rent it at block buster. Call of Jaurez: Bound in blood is a great game, yes its FPS but it's a great western game none the less.

Yeah, I loved Red Dead: Jack Swift is where it's at.

I just got COJ:BIB. I'm really enjoying the Multiplayer, the Wild West Legends are a heck of a lot of fun.

GUN is no good IMO.

Gun was a good game, and is much more comparable to what RDR will be. Gun didn't have the same living world that R* can build, when riding from one town to another it felt very empty and just need to get across it, also I have a feeling the game world in gun was the size of one of the smaller towns in RDR. Only took a couple of minutes to ride from one end to the other on a horse.

Heh heh - it passed the time as we waited for Red Dead Redemption though, right?

red dead revolver is the only western game I played and I loved it!

I think I'm gonna have to pick it up.
