TWB Multiplayer Events (UPDATED)

Another Idea.

Maybe TWB could host their very own Multiplayer Events, on the 29th of May. This Could be for both consoles, and could go on for a couple of hours, maybe a certain time that the US and UK will agree on, maybe 9/10pm UK time which i think is about 3/4pm central US or maybe do seperate nights depending on your location?

Anyway, the game modes in which we could play are the ones that members from the site have suggested. This is the list so far:

Amadillo Saloon Fight-night
- The name says it all. A fight in Amadillos local saloon has turned up and either 2 players can fight against eachother or when things get tough, 4-8 players can fight where its every man for himself. The last-man-standing, wins.

Law and Outlaw
- Two teams, Outlaws and Deputies each team has an leader, either an Outlaw Leader or a Sherriff, the teams have to eliminate opponent leader.

3:10 to Yuma
- Two Teams, Law and Outlaw, The Law have captured an Outlaw leader, and the Outlaws have to capture him back alive, by killing all the Lawmen. the Lawmen have to get the leader to a certain point on the map.

Basic FFA
- Everyman for themselves, last man standing, wins. Can be set for using certain weapons, maybe pistols only?

Red Dead Race
- All in the title, a race on horseback from a certain location to another, first one there, wins.

Bounty Hunt
- 8 players. One Outlaw, 7 Bounty hunters, Bounty hunters have unlimited lives, who ever kills the outlaw first wins. Outlaw has 1 life, he can do whatever, go wherever. The longer he lasts, the more points he gets.

Thats it for now, if you would like to suggest any more modes or ideas, post 'em up and i'll update the list. There will be rewards for the winners of each game, preferably whores

I think the event would need to be further from release. I mean i know alot of people will want to sink their teeth into Singleplayer. And the 22nd is the day after release in the UK.

I would say put it as a week after UK release and its a perfect idea.

Yeah, but I don't know whether to keep the time system the same, because it's a big time difference between UK and US, so i don't know if the US would be happy with an 3/4pm Time?

Yeah, this looks good, Marsh. We could have monthly events, in which we all get online and play for kicks, and the like.

There are 8 people to a game. One person is the outlaw. He has a 2 Minuit head start to get as far away as possible from everyone else. He can do this by horse, train, foot or any way he wants. Then the other 7 players(the bounty hunters) do what ever they can to find, chase down and kill the outlaw. Who ever kills the outlaw first wins.
bounty hunters are allowed to kill each other and can respawn as many times as they want.
the outlaw gets points depending on how long he stays alive

Yeah, i've changed the date.

Alright this incorporates a couple of ideas. Has anybody ever seen that show Mantracker? I think it would be fun to do something like that.

good job in organizing all the game mode ideas we made up into one section. I also agree with Doodle. I usually do not touch the multiplayer until I am finished with the single player storyline. So I think we should wait a few days after the release to actually hold these multiplayer events.

i have an idea, how bout a train ''robbery'' dont know if the have trains in MP but if. there could be like 5-8 persons on the train that guards it from outlaws and the goal for the outlaws is to take out all of the lawmens and if they do the have to steal the train (if that is possible) they win . dont know if its a good idea but thought it might be fun
