Online Bountys

Hmmm, i've just thought, say you're online with a friend or two in a free mode. And not you, but your friend gets a bounty above there head by say, killing an old helpless lady.

Could you Kill your friend, without getting a bounty? and by helping the law?

Leave your thoughts.

Umm... I really do hope they implement the Bounty system online. Otherwise, my Survival proposal goes down the toilet.

Although I would think by killing someone witha bounty, you may get Good Rep.

Yeah like on Kane and Lynch were you could stab your friend in the back just because he had more money.

But then you would get the problem of just farming the money/rep from yours friends to help boost you through the online mode. Otherwise good idea.

@Doodle, that is a good point but you could do it in a certain gamemode where you can only be with randoms.

@ICam, so your saying as soon as someone on your friends list joins your game you can no long receive money/fame for bountys? Wouldnt really work but people would still figure how to farm it.

Yeah, there will allways be a away too earn XP of your friends, unless RDR is different.

Im not sure if there is a online bounty system at the moment, but it might reward you with exp for killing an outlaw that committed a crime or something. I hope there is some kind of bounty for the online component of the game.

Would be nice considering you can then either take the reward and kill the partner or be loyal and help him.

Anyways, to anyone interested, yes there will be a bounty system online. I think that it's a solo system, although maybe being in a Posse will have a collective bounty (that would be nice, yes?)

I think that would be cool for online, but then if you had a friend you can just take turns boosting each other so I'm not sure how it would work out. :S

I think it would be awesome if Floppay assigned bounties to our posse for other posse member and whoever killed the people got whores for the kill

Hmm possibly. That could be fun in some events but not sure if it would work in all situations. Maybe in a hide and seek type game maybe.
